Dr. Gerhard Malerbe is our Clinic Medical Director. He is a General Physician with a special interest in Dermatology certified with a Cardiff Diploma in Practical Dermatology*. With this certification and his special interest in Dermatology – Dr. Malherbe is able to provide physician consultations for a variety of skin concerns.
He can treat an array of conditions from cosmetic concerns to eczema and psoriasis, skin damage, pigmentation issues and skin cancer, as well as spider and varicose veins, fungal infections, hair loss and more.
Dr. Malherbe has a special interest in Acne, Vascularities and Rosacea. Medical-based dermatology consultations require a referral from your family doctor or another physician for a consultation. Cosmetic consultations do not require a referral, though it is recommended to keep your family physician included in the treatment plan.
*Dr. Gerhard Malherbe holds a Diploma in Dermatology from the University of Cardiff, Wales. This is a General Practice Dermatology service (sometimes referred to as “GP’s with a special interest” in Dermatology). Dr. Gerhard Malherbe is not a Fellowship Dermatologist and makes no representation as such. However, he does have extra training in Dermatology and can provide assistance where the services of a Fellowship Dermatologist may not be necessary.
